Christmas dinner!!

Postby Areios22 on Mon Dec 25, 2006 10:33 pm

so since one big part of Christmas is getting together with family and grubbing out, that makes me wonder what did you guys have for dinner?

i had marinated steak with sauteed onions and mushrooms over a bed of rice and steamed cabbage and broccoli with a dash of lemon and butter. how about you guys?

I wish I was at one location.
I have three stops on x-mas day so I picked all day.

Now time for some drinks!  :D

We had a 22lb tender turkey, savory stuffing, mouth-watering mashed potatoes w/ g-riffic gravy (offcoursa!), and some strange vegetable topped off with a warm slice of apple crumb pie.

Our family was clearly confused at the date.

I worked 12 hours on Christmas from 0400 to 1600 hours (4 a.m. to 4 p.m.).  A church group located by the station brought some turkey, mash potatoes, and green beans.  It still wasn't the same, but much appreciated.  :icon_syda:

My family likes to mix it up, because we always seem to do turkey or roasts or something.

This year, was a seafood medley - crab cakes, shrimp, scallops, green beans and wild rice.  Desert was some dessert wine and an apple tart.

Happy holidays!
