Hey there,

I was playing on your BF2 server last night around 1am-ish. Suddenly, I was "kicked for excessive teamkilling or by successful kick vote." I had accidentally killed a few of my own guys the round before by artillery barrage but it wasn't intentional and I said sorry.

When I tried to rejoin, it said I was banned by an admin. I didn't see a warning or any sort of reason or anything.

Its a good server with a good ping so before I just say "screw it" and play on one of the zillion other servers out there, I was just curious what I did that got me outright banned...

I have no idea who banned you.

It looks like the demo banning features are flawed and I could not remove your forum posting IP from the ban list and the IP listing feature on the console didn't list any addresses. (server list a "hash" for the IP address).

I cleared the ban list - enjoy our server.

By the way, that was a proper way to respond to a ban. Good job.

I admin a CS server so I figured you would like a nice calm inquiry about the banning over a blasting and ranting, same as I do.

unfortunately when people get there back up and start flaming each other nobody makes progress.
