This movie is somewhat like Gladitor meets Sin City. Very cool IMO.

I was wondering when someone was going to re-make a movie about the Battle of Thermopylae, didnt expect it do be done by Frank Miller though lol

yeah this movie ought to completely rule. just a lot of the stuff being done with this movie prove that it will be completely amazing. an interesting fact about the trailer is that none of those sets are real. those are just actors in front of a green screen, the sets were created digitally (like a lot of the scenes in sin city ) yeah it'll rule.

its nothing like sin city. but looks really sweet none the less.

The soundtrack is a nine inch nails song so that should lend itself to a good movie

if you goto the website and look at behind the scenes of production design you will see that they used this sculpture of a huge boulder thing for more than one shot. So when you go see the movie keep your eye out for multiple scenes with the Spartans running around on a big rock or boulder. I know it's not as cool as some guy hanging himself in the top left corner of wizard of oz but it's close.

I can't wait for that movie man, it's not out til march, but i saw the preview for it about 2 months ago, it's gonna be wicked

Very, very few movies have met my expectations, but this movie blew me away.

I cant wait to see this movie on IMAX, the closest one is 40 minutes from me, so it might be a few days
I saw it on a normal size screen, but its the only theater in my area thats in DLP, so the picture = SEXY.

Did I mention that i HIGHLY recommend this movie?

ya imax makes it sooo much better the only thing that i wish i didn't do was watch the actually documentary of that battle b/c it was off on a couple of things but then again i guess it was taken from the comic that was taken from the actually event, but i can complain i loved the war scenes wish they would have shown the battle at the very end though
