Posted: Tue Feb 20, 2007 7:51 amHey guys. Just want to say hello and introduce myself. I'm Fancy/Feast AKA. Tight.Cheeks and have been going to some of the CAL/TWL BF2/2142 teams to let them know about GWL.
Global Warfighter League's been around for a long time mostly ranging in the games of Call Of Duty, Counter Strike and Star Wars Battlefront. However, since brining me on as head admin for bf2/2142, I've decided I want to make the ladders more active with some of the best teams around. I've completely redone the BF2/2142 ladders and would love it if you guys signed up.
Right now we have several options..
1. Traditional 5v5 BF2 Ladders for EU and NA.
2. 8v8 Conquest Ladders for EU and NA.
3. A couple small ladders such as 2v2 Armor and 2v2 Chopper.
4. 5v5 2142 Ladder for NA
5. 8v8 Conquest Ladder for NA
6. 8v8 Titan Ladder for NA. - I've designed the whole thing spicing up the original CAL idea of 12v12, making it 8v8.
Some of the benifits of our ladders will be..
1. Play with some of the best, and don't worry about inactive teams on the ladders, theyre cleaned out annually.
2. Our own personal match system, Team Profiles, Player Profiles etc. etc.
3. Friendly admins who know the game well and are there to help.
4. GUID system which is checked by myself and other admins to ensure a legit gameplay.
5. Plain old fun.
We have future plans for this summer, possibly opening up Prize Tournys for BF2/2142 depending on how many sign up for the ladders. We'd love it if you guys signed up and I'll be stopping by other teams sites too. The system will have bugs, stuff that were still working on, but we'll get it all fixed if we have some support in the community. We'd like to keep the BF series up as long as it can.
