It's not a hoax, it was released through PC Gamer.

By the looks of it, it's going to be very similar to BF2, same engine and familiar animations. However, it'll have a lot of new features (by the looks of it), and it will play very differently.

it better be the next fucking CS before i buy another EA product.

Man...  Im not sure that I am going to dig this game...   looks like a cross between Half Life and Mech Assault...
    All I could think about is how those vehicles would fly... I am sure gonna miss choppers. 
 I mean its a cool idea... but I think they are going to drop a huge bomb on the game as opposed to introducing these units gradually....

The game is no different than say Quake Wars but on a different engine and theme. Dont knock it until you try it. No matter how much you guys complain about EA, they still put out quality products, and the BF series is an example.

Quality my ass now...  EA pops games out like a cheap whore..  I do agree though, 1942 was a hell of a game when they came out with Desert combat mod.  BF2 will also be allot better when these major modders get their crap together and start releasing some good mods.  But EA has definitely jumped on a downhill streak i think with their releases,  the probs they have with them, and the updates they release for them.  Updates especially, i mean look at cs updates compared to BF2 or any other game in that matter.  CS is Constantly updating and they seem to be conserned about the experience thier gamers get of their CS product.  I don't see EA doing that for their consumers.

I'm gonna have to go with Ill on this one...  If EA pops out more games than a horny mormon couple does babies...(excuse the comparison)  If they spent more time on each product, even after its release, they could definitely develop better quality games much the way Bungie and CS do (greatest video game makers)...

            BF2 could have a much longer life span if they put more time into the game quality, with patches that enhance the game play...  But what they do is drop new weapons and vehicles to distract us from what should be fixed, and take some more money out of our pockets.  Overall EA could really use some changes

Love the comparison was trying to think of something along them lines but getting back to the topic.  I hate the way EA has been so meny hungry lately.  Instead of free mods like BF1942 had tons of, they release these weak ass add ons that cost half a full game.  Im sorry but SF peciial forces had a good hype to it and everyone was interested until it actually came out.  What a load of crap.

Just want your moneys, only positive thing that comes out of EA is the basis for a good mod release, engine, maps and all.

You know what really makes me itch my crapper bout this....  is the fact that EA has produced no MECH games to date...  and if I really wanted a MECH game (which I don't) i would definitely get it from somone else like the makers of Armored Core.

Armored Core, Mechwarrior, Zone of Enders and thats where my list of good robot games ends. When BFwtfevertheyearis comes out, I doubt it'll be on there.

You all talk the talk (i.e. wont play the new game) but will you walk the walk (i.e. my guess you will play).

made the mistake of buying spec forces, not buying euro force.
made the mistake of buying bf2, not buying bf3, simple as that.
there are far better options coming down the road eg. quake wars, armed assault, and the various mods that will woop bf2 vanilla's skinny ass.
