Development Info
Map: Shuhia Taiba 64
The idea of this movie is to create a trailer-like view of a intense battle. Story is taking a very back seat in this, and it's more about the progression of the battle. As things go on, the battle gets larger and more forces are involved. It'll basically be a "Battlefield Cycle", by showing a variety of units and vehicles, as well as their counters. Once everything "cycles", we'll pretty much be back where you started.
Focus of this isn't story, plotline, or pacing. It'll still be realistic (ie: no bunnyhopping, proning, and delayed kills), but it'll be about Battlefield 2142 more than about a futurtistic war (even though it does have a BASIC premise).
Scenes
Scene 0 | "Opening Scene" | Requires 10, 14 recommended
- PAC base is cluttered, lots of infantry running around, people hopping into vehicles and leaving the base.
- 4 Infantry load into the transport, which already has 1 pilot ready in it (5 total in transport)
- Transports slowly takes off and goes towards the central base
--- Overlay: While it is taking off and flying, the objectives will scroll in text, showing the basic premise
--- Premise: they're searching for enemy contacts in the middle base, nothing is sight yet.
Scene 1 | "AA Turret" | Requires 8, 10 recommended
- PAC transports arrives at central base, sees enemies on top of the central building, "Enemy Spotted!"
- AA turret opens fire on the transport, kills it
--- Premise: Enemy contact on the central base they were going to capture! Oh noes, what happens next?
Scene 2 | "Recon Attack" | Requires 8, 10 recommended
- PAC Recon Team shows up. A squad of 4, 5 PAC infantry uncloacks just outside the flag.
- EU says "oh shit", a lot of infantry die including the AA turret.
- PAC captures flag, plants C4, and defends
--- Overlay: "Meanwhile, above" and while infantry runs below, skips between the Recons looking for units (no music) to EU Inf running down stairs (fast paced techno music)
--- Premise: While this battle happens below, the infantry above on the roof spot it, and start running down below.
Scene 3 | "PAC Defends" | Requires 8, 10 recommended
- PAC Recon team is being overwhelmed by infantry defenders
- They retreat, blow the C4 on the flag, return to the flag. Explosions!!!!
--- Premise: Yay, PAC is feeling happy. Wooo!
Scene 4 | "EU Gunships" | Requires 8, 14 recommended
- EU shows up with 2 gunships
-- If there is 14, it also shows up with a transport which dumps EU infantry onto the roof
- The 2 gunships have gunners, which mess up the PAC recon squad, killing them all
--- Premise: EU infantry gets on flag, EU is king of the hill again
Scene 5 | "Gunship battles" | Requires 8, 10 recommended
- PAC shows up with their 2 gunships
- PAC gunship kills EU infantry, then the 2 PAC gunships go after the 2 EU gunships
- First one EU goes down, then one PAC goes down, then the second EU one dies
--- Premise: PAC wins the air battles, things are looking up
Scene 6 | "EU Walkers" | Requires 8, 10 recommended
- 4 EU Walkers kill the gunship with ease, and reinforce the hill
- 2nd PAC Recon group spots enemies at a distance
--- Overlay: 2nd PAC Recon Force reports heavy enemy walker presence
--- Overlay: Command has specified this target is vital.
--- Overlay: Command has deemed Frontal Assault necessary.

PAC forces try to gain a foothold by taking a key, central base. EU responds in massive force, destroying the PAC's initial assault. Can the PAC rally up an equal strength and force their objective into their own hands with a Frontal Assault?
