k so my comptuer sucks... i got a ati radeon 9200 not sure if its the 9200 SE gfx card.... well everytime i try and play bf2 it plays for a while then some blue screen comes on and tells me theres sumthing wrong with my drivers or there cud be a problem with my BIOS.... i dont know what any of this means... i dont lag in game or anything.... but my comp shows the blue screen and just shutsdown.....

Next time it happens write down the message of your blue screen or take a dig pic of it and post it up.

k so just a liitle while ago my bf2 wudnt even start.... so i wen to look for updates on new drivers on the ATI website.... i got the latest drivers but then i realized my card wasnt supported.... so now i dont know what to do... becuase i downloaded the latest drivers that supports my gfx card...  http://support.ati.com/ics/support/defa ... 2264  thats them and bf2 still wont run ....

I doubt ATi would cut support for it's 9 series but yea those are some old ass cards. I think BF2 doesn't support anything older than a 8500, and when I look at the system requirnments it skips the 9200s. Good card for the money and it has definite driver support with BF2 and ATi.

Dump any folders under your cache folder My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache and see if it helps.

i wish i wasnt so poor... ill try and save up money for it... but i cant even get 10 dollars for a new booster pack lol but yeah ill try... cuz i def need upgrades to my comp... its all stock the way it came xcept for my 9200

now that i think of it  my bf2 ran fine for the longest time.... i can even recall the patch working for me.... my comptuer got a bad virus or something a few months ago and my dad brought it to best buy to get fixed... when it came back it was like buying my comptuer again withnothing in it... u think it cud be the patch?
