1. Here's the latest .dmp file. I don't have a tool for debugging, but could you recommend one for me so I can have a look?

2. Any recommendations for a program that will monitor my temp levels in my computer? CPU and GPU specifically

3.
- Replaced RAM, no change
- Replacing GPU, will have it in about 2 days
- Thinking of replacing sound card, I think my current on-board sound card may be the cause (though I'm very unsure).
-- Anyone have an old PCI sound card? All I need is an alternative source to plug a stereo headset and microphone into, so I can try disabling my mobo's onboard sound drivers.

Hey, Shoat, could you look at this, or maybe recommend me a debugger?

This is the second time I have crashed while watching a streaming video (think YouTube). It makes the same beeping noise, but I'm not using any 3d acceleration. Is it still my video card giving off the stop message?

This error was more ambiguous, some driver was failing or perhaps some overheating is happening:

*******************************************************************************

KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck.  Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem.  Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003.  This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG.  This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG.  This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.

What CPU are you running I cant seem to find where you posted it if at all. If it is an AMD 64 bit 939 or above series they have an onboard memory contro;;er that could be borked and if so those CPU's have a 3 year warranty. Try a program called prime95 and see if it will run for 24 hours without crashing it will stress the CPU and if it is an overheating problem the system will crash at least we can rule out a CPU problem.

Have you downloaded the drivers for that CPU and the dual core infinity gaming fix?

Alright, I downloaded the latest CPU drivers. Never have used CPU drivers before, but now seems like a good time to start. Also downloaded some other interesting looking utilities to help look at voltage and stuff... kind of confusing but it might drop some hints. I don't *think* my CPU is dual core, like I had originally thought, oh well.

I give up. This is so fucking ridicolous I just can't believe it anymore.

I've got new RAM, new Harddrives, new video cards (2 of them), and NOTHING FUCKING WORKS. The only things I haven't replaced are my CPU, PSU, and Mobo - and that's only because I've never messed with them before. I keep crashing, and it's making me angrier and angrier. I'm seriously starting to consider throwing my PC as hard as I can every time I crash - because it's happened 100's of times now no matter what I do. I'm starting to lose it, basically.....

If anyone has a PCI soundcard that they aren't using, I will PAY you for it. If you'd be willing to just GIVE it to me, that'd be appreciated. This is my last ditch effort before I just take a sledge hammer to my current setup and invest another $500 into a machine that'll hopefully work.

To be honest, I feel like murdering someone or something. I think it will be my PC who will be murdered before too long.

I just had a thought...try plugging in your computer to another AC outlet.  Try turning off other items on your power strip, if it shares it with your computer.  Try plugging in your computer on an entirely different electrical circuit.  It is entirely possible that there isn't enough power going to your computer, though I haven't really heard of that happening.  If you've replaced everything on your computer though...not sure what else it can possibly be besides overheating or power.

Is your copy of XP legit and is it the latest SP2?
Maybe your copy of XP is f'ed in some way.
Do you run a virus checker. If not get AVG Free (it is free)

If you have the time try running a LIVE CD of Linux
For example:
http://www.knoppix.net/get.php

You can then test playing video's etc. to see if the machine is stable.
Worth a try.

Matt,

Im decent at troubleshooting when it comes to computers if you could get on ts like 30 minutes before practice? The first thing I would check for now would be, is your CPU fan pressed down hard enough on your cpu? Because if it is loose AT ALL it will shut down on you like that because your cpu is to hot. I think maybe with these changes you have been making you could have knocked it loose.

Well my problem was not fixed, though it did disappear for like 3 days. Now it's crashing a lot again. I'm going to mess around a bit more, but I think a Windows XP reinstall is about to happen.
