I have a new computer on the way what is the easiest way for me to keep my game settings for BF2, CS, red ochestra and others without having to set my controls up again? Are there certain files I can transfer from my old comp to the new one and can I copy my BF2 accounts?

A lot of the time that data is kept within the My Documents folder - sometimes under it's own folder (like Battlefield 2 for example), and sometimes under "My Games" within My Documents. Just copy the entire game's directory, and put it back in My Documents where you found it on your new computer.

If the game your looking for is not kept under there, it's likely going to be harder to transfer, and it differs on a game-to-game basis.

Pretty close to what I'm buying piece by piece right now.  I'm going with the 7900GTX and 2 150 gb 10,000 rpm hard drives set up at raid 0.  Your system should rock especially when you buy the 2nd 7900 gt for your sli setup.

Did you recently change something?
If it was hardware remove it for a test - unplug all your usb devices too.

Does it start OK in safe mode?
Do you have any virus protection and is it updated?
Is your copy of XP legit and do you have all the latest updates from MS?
Play any Sony produced cd-rom's in your machine (rootkit)?  :D

Possible your HD is starting to fail or you have a conflicting hardware device during startup.

Try booting with the bootlog enabled and post it.
The Boot Logging text is recorded in the Ntbtlog.txt file in the %SystemRoot% folder.
