Mic Suggestions?

I just got a really nice headset. The microphone it came with is having some issues though - it picks up a lot of echo. I don't know if you guys noticed it, but the group of podcast guys I was with essentially made me go back to my old headset / mic since it was an issue. I tried tweaking the settings for awhile, with no luck.

Basically, I really like the headphones, though. Is there a good stand alone mic I can use with my headset that anyone can recommend? I'm looking for a fairly high quality (for internet use, that is) mic, since I'm using it for a podcast and I want it to be nice and clear.

I was looking at mics that clip on.
I am going to buy some high end headphones and use a high quality clip on mic as none of the good sets of headphones have a mic built in.  Kills me as you think there would be a market for it.

Here is one to give you an idea from Zalman - many out there but you really want to have one which has a in-line control to mute and/or volume control.  This Zalman doesn't have the mute option.

I use those ^^^^^ so far so good and cheap enough to replace as far as the Zalmans never used them but I only buy Zalman CPU coolers. :)

How is the sound quality of the ICE phones?

I really fuckin' like 'em (Excuse my langauge). The mic echos a bit, which isn't a problem for gaming, but for my podcast the added noise is a pain in the ass. But the sound quality is superb, they are incredibly comfortable, and they look bad ass.

I use this mic: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/produ ... ENTID=7983

It says its for PS2 but it just plugs into the USB and works fine with no extra drivers.

I've been really happy with the Logitec Deskmic USB.  Cheap and easy, and good.
