So this weekend I won 3rd place for IT network support/computer repair at Skills Canada. This a pretty big thing in terms of my resume and references in my upcoming career in the field.

Topics covered included PC troubleshooting and building, Linux, Windows 2003/Active directory, Wireless Networking, and Cisco routing.

I was so nervous going into it, it took me 15mins to make two simple straight/crossover cat5 cables. Untwisting pairs sucks when your hands are shaking.

So who else is into computers on a professional level?

oh yeah, first post!

Just graduated Clemson (well, okay, on Friday) in Electrical Engineering. Gotta hate CAT5, especially the damn green wire!! Just finished my graduation hat mod, where I mounted 120 LED's in the form of a tiger paw. Will post pictures when finished with the programming in the microcontroller to make it do fun stuff =).
