SuperBowl

Postby illfusion on Mon Jan 23, 2006 12:57 pm

well guys what do u think for the superbowl.  Of course you all have to cheer for my hometown of pittsburgh.

but, honestly the way pitt has been playing on the road and the confidence level they built up i think its gonna be pretty hard to beat them.  Maybe finally after we win the superbowl we can get a lil respect from NFL that long overdue.

I'm cheering for Pittsburgh.  I've never noticed a lack of respect for Pittsburgh.

This is the year for Pitt. We're on a roll, we've got a ton of talent, and for the first time in many years our game is completely three dimension - we can pass, run, and play defense great. There is nothing about our game that is lacking - and they're so goddamn TOUGH, too.

This is a great sports year for me. The college I root for (WVU) won the Sugar Bowl in football, and in basketball we're on a 12 game winning streak - we're ranked 16 or something but quickly going up - already being predicted to make it to the Final Four. We've beat a lot of great teams - including Georgetown, who just beat Duke the other day.

I'm not a football person, so I'm going to support MY home team: the Seahawks.  Seahawks FTW!

I grew up about 1 hour south of Pittsburgh in Greene County, PA. I was born a Steeler fan.

I live in West Virigina... about 2 hours south of Pitt. We live about 2 hours West of Washington, too, but Pitt has always been our football team to root for.
