Go progressive or gieko with MC insurance.  Tom, my magnum has 340 hp, 390 tq, lots of room for driver and passengers, pulls 3800 pounds (I pull a boat and a trailer with my MC on it).  I have not pulled the trigger yet on the supercharger for my G35 Coupe.  Link to it is http://www.cardomain.com/ride/672362

nice car.  And im sure insurance isn't that bad for older fellas but early 20's on a bike they rape.  my driving record isn't exactly the greatest either.  accident wise i  mean not really much police trouble other then their assholes around here and hate the color red on vehicles. Dam pigs

cops seem to hate loud shit. cop came into my drivers ed class saying if I went by in a civic with a tin can muffler on it and i was revving high, he'd pull me over.

thats what i had to go to nothings louder then staright pipes though wich i had for 1 year.  then was forced to get a muffler.  :(  just go with straight pipes.  Dunno bout your state but as long as your exhaust is 6'' past the back of your cab its legal.  I cut mine off right at the stock muffler.  Kept the cat though shoulda ripped that bad boy off to, but was afraid of less back pressure.

Yes I am.  I have a stainless steel high performance exhaust (starts at header, hi-flow cat) on the G35.  It is loud.  I have an after market BUBS exhaust on the MC.  It is extremely loud.  Loud cars will get you noticed, which is why they get pulled over more.  Also, in some states (California) most mods end up being illegal whether it be for loudness or pollution reasons.  Young people also tend to drive more aggressively.  It all adds up.  Its not that we don't like them...most of us have louder exhausts or performance stuff, it is just our job.  In my state if a guy shoves a woman, even when defending himself, he has to go to jail.  I think it is stupid but it is the law and I have to enforce it.  Now the courts will kick him out, most likely, the next day, but he had to go through it.

this is kinda rambling on but im gonna do it anyway. lol

one time i made a sharp right onto my street going about 5 or under because of the fact i had a huge vase with water and a big ass plant in my backseet and i did not want it everywhere.  Then out of nowhere a police car lit em up all the way around the bend flew up behind me waited a good 1/4 mile after riding my ass wich is not safe at all cause i was driving in my rear view mirror cause i was nervous.  After that 1/4 mile he flicks on his lights pull me over on my street with his mega phone on his car.  I was so pissed he made me get out of my truck didn't search me or anything asked me how fast i was going then said i was speeding and gave me a warning.

Now does that sound fucked up or not.  I was being a smartass when he made me get out cause all my neighbors were watching and shit made me feel like an ass. But, im telling you cops in pittsburgh are assholes excpet for the ones i know that "help" me out.  hehe

My standard response is: Like any other job, there are cops that are good at their job and cops that are not so good (bad) at their job.  We are people like everyone else.  Something similar to what happened to you happened to me.  The difference is with my rank in my department, I was able to call the officers supervisor and chewed her ass.  The officer ended up with station duty for 3 months afterwards.  There is no room for that type of officer, but they are there  :(.
