I'm not knocking the VRod.  I looked to buy the VRod but the price was disgusting.  I then checked out a bike that I wasn't really thinking of in the M109R.  I didn't think it looked as nice as the VRod in the pictures I'd seen.  I went and saw the bike and my opinion changed big time.  The M109R is much more impressive in person.  I considered both bikes to be very equal in looks (240 rear is standard on M109R and back wheel will take a 280) and performance, so half the price won out for me.
