Need help seting up TWL sever

Hey this is holy from the clan you all just raped lol. I need some help seting up my sever to twl. One of your guys said he could help me out. Also i like to scrim you all some more, not with TWL just to get beter and for pratice.

I rent the sever from art of war. I have our sever set up for twl. I just whent to the rules and copyed and pasted all the seting into the sever. I just dont know whether u all have a mod, or what you do to restart the sever. Thats the only thing i need help or maybe i need more help then i know lol. Just tell me what you did to get it set up and i can do the rest.

All you need to do is exec the the TWL config file to set it up for match play. The command below:

> rcon exec twlcss.cfg

will set the TWL setting for the current map. Every time the map changes you will need to re-exec the TWL file. To set up the server back to public settings execute the following:

> rcon exec server.cfg

You do not every need to physically restart the server to make those changes.

To restart a map, enter:

> rcon mp_restartgame #

Where # is some number of seconds (like 3 seconds).

I undersstand what u are saying... but the twl site gives me the cofig files not the exec files. Or am i puting the cofig file in a wrong place. Do u have xfire if so buddy holyone so we can talk a lot faster i need to have this done by tommorw.

The TWL config file is called twlcss.cfg. It is not an executable. There are no exec files needed. The "rcon exec twlcss.cfg" is a HL2 command that executes the twlcss.cfg file, modifying server settings for match play. You place the twlcss.cfg file in the same directory as the default server.cfg file, which is usually the first directory you see via FTP. So the sequence of commands you execute in your CSS console is as follows:

> rcon_password
> rcon changelevel

I tried getting on your server both to talk to you about CSS and to see if you want to scrim tonight. But after getting kicked twice...
